During the winter season when the temperature outside drops below freezing, the outdoor discharge line of your sump pump can become blocked with snow or ice. This could cause your sump pump to be stuck in the on position,
because the water level in the basin won’t be discharged outside. This constant running with a blocked pipe could
cause your sump pump to fail. Adding FreezFlow to the outside discharge line helps prevent basement flooding due to a frozen outdoor line. With FreezFlow, the water will discharge through the specially designed vents, preventing a backup in the basement. During a heavy rain if your storm sewers are overwhelmed, FreezFlow will help prevent a
backup by dispersing the excess storm water.
